Our Funny Little Dachshund!
Meet Tucker Tucker is a chocolate longhaired little dachshund who came to us from my daughter's house and is another addition to our many pets we have had over the years. While they dearly love their little doxies, Toby & Truffles & thought they might like a third little dachshund , they found it to be a bit much for them so he has come to live with me and my two dogs, Shamrock and Dumpster (Dumpy for short). He has a lot of adventures ( which we will share with you here) and enjoys himself very much. He spends a lot of time running around in the day time, mostly chasing me and gets very tired at night. As you can see in the picture he likes to relax in the evening with a snack or two and then sleep in the chair, sometimes upside down! He has big fluffy paws that look more like bears than a dogs and has a really BIG passion for milkbones. He seems to get in trouble alot and has alot of fun doing it! Check back soon and see what adventures Tucker has been having!

Tucker and the cardboard box. No box can escape his keen eye!!
Tucker and the cardboard box. Tucker has been a welcome if somewhat naughty addition to our family. No box, paper or much of anything else can escape his keen eye! He loves boxes and paper of any sort shape and size and will destroy just about anything he finds. I was working my my sewing room and heard clucking noises and found Tucker upstairs emptying a box a coke zeros, that he was proceeding to carry one at a time down stairs to his bed and then drag the box to the living room to once more rip up a new box, causing mayhem and destruction and more things for me to sweep and clean. He is unaware of the fact that I do not live to do housework and so his daily destruction of any item he can find gives him the greatest pleasure and me more work! He fixed the box above the perfectly fit his neck so he could have ahead rest while relaxing. Lucky Tucker!
Tucker & Christmas Tucker got to go on his first long car trip, and go to Vermont for Christmas! Luckily for him that also meant lots and lots of snow! He spent a lot of time causing destruction at my in laws and causing the little dog who lives there a lot of aggravation. Princess did not find him amusing at all. He really enjoyed running his head and nose straight down into the nearest snow bank and chasing all the little birds and chipmunks who had innocently come out to play, not expecting the hunter that waited on them. Luckily for them he isn't a very good hunter. Unfortunately for Tucker he also got a doggy case of the stomach flu, he told me he did not like that at all, especially when he had to go see the doctor. But he did recover and was ready for the drive back home to see his friends, Shamrock & Dumpster, & Toby & Truffles. And he told me he was glad he did not have to help drive Naughty Tucker
Don't let me fool you, I am not sleeping...
I am taking some time to see what else I can do. Let me see... Chase & annoy the very large German Shepard or maybe... Bark at the rabbit for hours at a time or just jump up and down constantly smashing my head into the bottom of his cage or... chew up every single item I find on the floor, or better yet climb up on my mummies sewing tables and knock everything off and THEN chew it up. or runaway up the street looking at all the fun things outside but then again I could pretend to sleep, saving my strength for tomorrow Maybe I will do that zzzzzzzzzz
